Frédéric Vonner leads the Privacy practice of PwC Luxembourg for more than 3 years. Besides driving an expert team as well as the market approach, he leads and deliver data privacy- and GDPR-related assessment and remediation projects. He currently co-chairs of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (“ALFI”) working group dedicated to GDPR and is part of the CNPD working group on GDPR certification.
In addition, Frédéric is still advising asset managers and securities services providers, as well as local and international banks, for more than 18 years, focusing amongst others on operational excellence in custody and fund administration businesses.

That legitimate concern of many of us, as citizens, has been at the core of some recent regulatory changes across the world, starting in Europe and spreading out to many other territories.
This presentation will start by sharing views as to where we stand in Luxembourg and Europe, now that the GDPR is should be embedded in our daily routines. We will then explore some ways to build trust around data privacy in an organisation and across society.
